Preparing For A Neighborhood Dinner

Your husband just volunteered to have a quaint neighborhood dinner. The problem is he invited a dentist and a doctor who are accustomed to tasty cuisine and comfy oak dining chairs. Will they bring their spouses? What is the total number of guests? After the initial shock wears off, you need to plan accordingly for the correct number of guests. If your dear husband invited to many guests, then an extra dining table may be required along with the extra dining chairs and dining silverware.

You must obtain an approximate head count for the guest list. If an extra or bigger dining table is needed, then this needs to be purchased and setup immediately. You simply must have an approximate number of adults and children who will attend. Determine the dimension of your dining room table so you can plan how many place settings are available. Ensure you have adequate napkins and utensils. A dining table requires about two-feet per person for a comfortable dining experience. Plan the extent of the meal, and the number of courses, based upon the available dining space.
